The 5S Well-Being Framework
Much of our research is organised around Dr. Minhaj Qidwai’s 5S Well-Being Framework, which looks at provider wellbeing across five connected dimensions:
- Self: personal resilience, health and sense of purpose
- Society: relationships with colleagues, family and community
- State: policy, regulation and the wider health system
- Systems: workplace processes, leadership and organisational culture
- Spirituality: meaning, compassion and values in care
The framework underpins our workshops and Burnout to Blueprint, our workforce wellbeing assessment and co-design programme.
