About Us

OUR STORY & PURPOSE

Transforming Healthcare Workplaces.

Our Vision:
A healthcare system where every provider feels valued, supported, and empowered to deliver the best care possible. Because when healers thrive, healthcare transforms—for patients, for communities, and for generations to come.

Who We Are:
We help healthcare professionals feel better, work better, and stay longer in the jobs they love.
Rufayda is a wellness and healthcare management organization that fixes what’s broken in hospitals — stress, burnout, poor teamwork, and toxic culture — so doctors, nurses, and staff can focus on what really matters: caring for patients.

Founded by Dr. Arfa Masihuddin, a healthcare management specialist, and Tooba Masihuddin, an HR and leadership expert, Rufayda uses practical, evidence-based strategies to make healthcare workplaces healthier and more human.

We do this through:

  • Therapy & Counseling – to help healthcare workers manage stress and burnout.
  • Workshops & Webinars – to build stronger teams and better leaders.

When the people who care for others are supported, the whole system starts to heal.

Our Mission:
To build spaces where healthcare providers feel safe, supported, and valued — because when those who care for others are well, everyone heals better.

Our Publications

  • Dr. Arfa Masihuddin’s co-authored chapter, “Humanistic Medicine as a Spiritual Driver for Improving the Quality of Work Life of Healthcare Providers and Managing Improved Health Outcomes,” published in Enhancing Client, Family, and Community Health Management: Self, Society, State, Systems, and Spirituality (© 2026),” explores how spirituality and humanistic values such as empathy, mindfulness, and compassion can enhance healthcare providers’ well-being and patient outcomes. The work reflects Rufayda’s mission to integrate human-centered, spiritually grounded approaches into healthcare systems to promote provider wellness and organizational transformation.

Our Approach:
